Terms of Use and Collaboration
These terms govern your use of Taguj, the social network for shopping (the website taguj.io and the Taguj mobile app for iOS and Android), and the collaboration between creators and brands through Taguj. We have written them to be as easy to understand as possible. If anything is unclear, write to us at ahoj@taguj.io.

1. Introductory provisions
1.1 These terms of use and collaboration (the “terms”) form an agreement between you and the provider, Pro Tvůj Brand s.r.o. (“we”, “us” or “Taguj”).
1.2 The terms apply to all Taguj users. For creators who earn commissions, chapters 12 and 13 also apply. For businesses (for example brands, local businesses or creators acting on Taguj in the course of their business), the provisions expressly intended for businesses also apply.
1.3 The agreement also includes the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. These describe how we process personal data; on their own they do not constitute consent to processing.
1.4 These terms in no way limit the rights the law gives you as a consumer (in particular under the Czech Civil Code and the Czech Consumer Protection Act).

3. Entering into the agreement
3.1 The agreement is formed when you complete registration, during which you confirm that you have read these terms and agree to them. Without registering, you can only use Taguj to the extent available without signing in; even then, these terms apply to you.
3.2 The agreement is concluded for an indefinite period and in the Czech language. We will send you the version of the terms in effect at the time of your registration on request; the current version is always on this page.
3.3 Basic use of Taguj is free of charge. Paid features are governed by chapter 14.
3.4 If you use Taguj on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to act for it.
4. What Taguj is and purchases from merchants
4.1 Taguj is a social network for shopping. Users share photos, videos and 24-hour stories with tagged products and links to merchants’ online shops, follow each other and save inspiration.
4.2 Many links are affiliate links. When you buy through them, the merchant or affiliate network may pay a commission, part of which goes to the creator and part to Taguj. This does not change the price of the goods for you.
4.3 Taguj also includes: creators’ discount codes on their profiles, collaborations with local businesses, pay-per-click campaigns and weekly goals. Details are in chapters 11 to 13.
4.4 Unless expressly stated otherwise, Taguj is neither the seller of the tagged goods nor the provider of the services offered. The purchase is completed with the relevant merchant, and the merchant’s terms govern the price, payment, delivery, complaints, returns and withdrawal from the contract. You enter into the purchase contract with the merchant, not with Taguj.
4.5 We are not responsible for merchants’ offers, prices, stock availability, the quality of goods or merchants’ performance. Product information (name, price, availability, image) may come from merchants’ feeds or from creators and may not always be up to date; the information on the merchant’s website is decisive.
5. Registration, account and 18+ age requirement
5.1 You can register with an email address and password or via a Google, Apple or Facebook account. When you sign in via a third party, we neither see nor store your password for that account.
5.2 Taguj is only for people over 18. When registering, you enter your date of birth, and we will not create an account for anyone younger. If we find out that a user is under 18, we will delete their account. Giving a false date of birth is a breach of the terms.
5.3 Give true information when registering and while using Taguj, and keep it up to date. Each person or company may have only one account.
5.4 Protect your account: do not share your password and do not let anyone else use your account. You are responsible for activity carried out under your login, unless it happened through no fault of your own. Report any suspected misuse of your account to us straight away at support@taguj.io.
5.5 Your username must not mislead, impersonate another person or brand, or infringe the rights of third parties. We may change or remove such a username.
6. Licence to use Taguj
6.1 For the duration of the agreement, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, free-of-charge licence to use Taguj (the website and the app) for personal purposes and, in the case of creators and businesses, for the purposes of collaboration under these terms.
6.2 The licence does not include the right to copy, modify, sell, rent out, decompile or reverse engineer Taguj or any part of it, unless the law expressly permits it.
6.3 You may only use the app on devices that you own or control, and in accordance with the rules of the store from which you downloaded it (chapter 21).
7. Rules of conduct and prohibited behaviour
7.1 On Taguj we apply zero tolerance to unlawful, offensive, harassing, hateful, violent, sexually explicit or misleading content and behaviour.
7.2 In particular, it is prohibited to:
- publish content that breaks the law or infringes copyright, trade mark rights, personality rights, image rights or privacy;
- harass, intimidate or bully other users, or impersonate another person or brand;
- send spam, unsolicited advertising, chain messages or mass comments;
- mislead about products, prices, discounts or whether something is a collaboration with a brand;
- generate fake clicks, views, likes, followers or purchases, including via bots, scripts, click farms or arrangements with other users;
- buy through your own links or have people close to you buy through them in order to earn a commission, order goods with the intention of returning them, or otherwise circumvent the rules of affiliate networks and merchants. We do not pay commission on your own purchase or on a purchase by someone close to you made through your own link; affiliate networks (e.g. CJ, Awin, eHUB) cancel such purchases themselves;
- cheat with commissions, invitation rewards, discount codes or weekly goals, create fake or duplicate accounts, or “invite” yourself;
- automatically extract content or data from Taguj (scraping, crawling) without our written consent, except for standard search engines to the extent permitted by the robots.txt file;
- compromise the security or operation of Taguj, circumvent technical restrictions, spread malware or try other people’s passwords;
- use Taguj to promote illegal goods or services, or to promote alcohol, tobacco products and e-cigarettes, gambling, and prescription-only medicines;
- sell, rent out or transfer your account to another person.
7.3 We deal with breaches of these rules in accordance with chapters 10 and 19.
8. User content and the licence to it
8.1 You keep all rights to your content. You are responsible for the content you publish.
8.2 By uploading content, you confirm that you have the right to use it (for example, you are its author or you have permission from the author and the people shown) and that it does not infringe copyright, image rights, data protection or advertising rules.
8.3 By publishing content, you grant us a non-exclusive, free-of-charge, worldwide licence to:
- store the content, process it technically (e.g. resize, crop, convert the format) and display it to others within Taguj;
- use it to promote Taguj in the app, on the website taguj.io, in emails and on Taguj’s own social media profiles, always crediting your username.
8.3a We will not use your content in paid advertising (ours or brands’) without your express consent. You give consent separately for each specific use, and you remain the owner of the content.
8.4 We may sublicense only to our suppliers who help us run Taguj (e.g. hosting), and only to the extent necessary for its operation.
8.5 The licence ends when the content or account is deleted. We will remove the content from Taguj without undue delay, and from backups and caches within 30 days at the latest. We are not obliged to retroactively remove content used in promotion that has already been published (e.g. an older social media post or a sent email), but on request we will remove it wherever possible. The licence continues if we must retain the content by law or to resolve a dispute.
8.6 Stories stop being shown to others after 24 hours. The author can still see them in her stories overview for 30 days after publication (including the number of views and clicks) and can delete them at any time. We delete story videos from storage 2 days after the 24-hour period ends; the story image remains stored until you delete the story or your account.
8.7 We do not check content in advance and have no general obligation to monitor it. Captions and comments pass through an automatic filter for inappropriate expressions.
9. Labelling advertising and collaborations
9.1 Creators must label commercial communications and collaborations with brands clearly and visibly with the hashtag #spolupráce or #reklama at the start of the caption. The label must be understandable without clicking to expand.
9.2 A collaboration means, in particular, content for which the creator has received or will receive money, a commission, free goods or services, or any other benefit. Taguj states next to products and on the website that links may earn commission.
9.3 The creator follows the brand’s approved brief, advertising rules and the law (in particular the Czech Advertising Regulation Act and the Czech Consumer Protection Act) and does not make false claims about products.
9.4 We label paid promotion and boosted posts in the app in accordance with chapter 11.
10. Moderation, reporting content and complaints (DSA)
10.1 Point of contact. Under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services (DSA), the single point of contact for users and for the authorities of Member States and the European Commission is the email info@taguj.io. You can communicate in Czech, Slovak, Polish or English.
10.2 Reporting content. You can report content that you believe breaks the law, infringes the rights of third parties or breaches these terms using the “Report” button on the post or by email to info@taguj.io. When reporting illegal content, please include:
- an explanation of why you believe the content is illegal;
- the exact link (URL) or other identification of the content;
- your name and email (we do not require these for reports of certain criminal offences relating to child sexual abuse);
- a statement that you are submitting the report in good faith and that the information is true and complete to the best of your knowledge.
10.3 If you include your email, we will confirm receipt of your report. We will assess reported content within 24 hours and let you know the outcome. Content reported by several users may be temporarily hidden straight away pending assessment. A human always decides on the removal of reported content. In addition, when you add a post, story or comment, an automatic filter for inappropriate expressions applies: text containing such expressions cannot be published until you edit it.
10.4 Procedure for breaches. We remove inappropriate content. For a first breach we give the user a warning; for repeated breaches we ban (block) their account. Particularly serious content or behaviour may lead to an immediate ban. Other possible measures: hiding or reducing the visibility of content, suspending payouts, restricting features, suspending or deleting the account.
10.5 Blocking users. You can block any user from the detail view of their post; you will then no longer see their posts.
10.6 Statement of reasons. When we restrict your content or account, we will send you a statement of reasons: what we did and to what extent, on the basis of which facts, whether automated processing was used, whether we consider the content illegal (and under which law) or in breach of these terms (and which clause), and what options for redress you have. This does not apply if such a notice would be contrary to the law or to an order of an authority.
10.7 Internal complaint handling. You can file a complaint against our decision (to remove or hide content, restrict or delete an account, suspend payouts, or not to remove reported content) at support@taguj.io, within 6 months of the day you learned of the decision. Complaints are free of charge. We will handle your complaint without undue delay, in a non-discriminatory manner and not solely by automated means; if the decision was wrong, we will reverse it.
10.8 Out-of-court settlement. If you are not satisfied with how your complaint was handled, you can turn to an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under Article 21 of the DSA. The European Commission keeps a list of certified bodies. The Digital Services Coordinator in the Czech Republic is the Český telekomunikační úřad (ČTÚ, Czech Telecommunication Office). You can also resolve consumer disputes with the Česká obchodní inspekce (ČOI, Czech Trade Inspection Authority) (chapter 23). This does not affect your right to go to court.
10.9 Protection against misuse. We may, after a prior warning, suspend for a reasonable period the accounts of users who frequently publish manifestly illegal content. Likewise, we may for a reasonable period stop processing reports and complaints from people who frequently submit manifestly unfounded reports.
10.10 If we become aware of content giving rise to a suspicion of a criminal offence threatening the life or safety of people, we will notify the competent authorities.
11. Ranking content in the feed and promotion
11.1 We determine the order of posts in the feed automatically. The main parameters that influence it are:
- freshness – newer posts take priority;
- popularity – the number of likes, saves and clicks on products;
- following – we rank posts from creators you follow higher;
- your taste – the styles and categories you chose when registering, and your activity (what you like and save);
- boost – a creator who meets the weekly goal has her posts ranked higher in the feed until the end of the week (until Sunday);
- paid promotion – we do not currently sell paid promotion or advertising. If we introduce it, promoted posts will be labelled “Promoted”, stating who paid for the promotion.
11.2 Following, freshness and popularity carry the greatest weight.
11.3 If you only want to see posts from people you follow, choose the “Following” tab; there we show posts from newest to oldest. You can object to the feed being personalised based on your activity (see the Privacy Policy).
11.4 For businesses (P2B): we do not give preferential treatment in the feed to any brands or to Taguj’s own products. Apart from the boost for weekly goals and paid promotion (if we introduce it), no direct or indirect payments influence the ranking.
11.5 If we introduce advertising or paid promotion, we will always label it so that you can recognise it, and state who paid for it. We do not target advertising based on sensitive data (e.g. health, religion, sexual orientation).
12. Creators: commissions, invitations and other programmes
12.1 Commission. The creator is entitled to 70% of the commission paid by the brand for a purchase (the affiliate network or direct partner); 30% is Taguj’s fee. The creator can see her commission rate as a percentage for each brand in the app.
12.2 Whether a commission arises, and how much it is, depends on the purchase being correctly attributed, on the rules of the specific merchant or affiliate network, and on any return or cancellation of the order. Entitlement to a commission arises from an order that the merchant confirms; cancelled or returned orders are not rewarded. If the brand or network does not pay the commission or cancels it retroactively, the creator is not entitled to it either.
12.3 Statistics in the app (clicks, purchases, provisional commissions) are only indicative until confirmed by the merchant.
12.4 Invitation reward. For inviting another creator, the inviter receives a reward of 10% of the commissions the invited creator earns for 3 months from registration. The reward is paid by Taguj; the invited creator’s commission rate does not change. The invited creator acknowledges that the inviter will learn that she joined via her link.
12.5 Pay-per-click campaigns. Creators with at least 5,000 followers on Taguj can take part in campaigns in which the brand pays for clicks on a link. The creator receives 100% of the price per click set by the brand; Taguj charges the brand an additional 10% fee. You will see the campaign terms in the app before joining. Only valid clicks are paid. Clicks by bots, repeated clicks by the same person (we count at most one paid click per visitor per day) and the creator’s own clicks are not paid. A campaign ends when the brand’s budget runs out. Purchases from a click that was paid in a campaign are no longer rewarded with a commission.
12.6 Weekly goals and boost. For meeting the weekly goal shown in the app, the creator receives a boost (chapter 11). A boost is not a monetary reward and cannot be transferred. We may change the goals for subsequent weeks.
12.7 Discount codes. A creator may publish brands’ discount codes on her profile. The terms of the discount (amount, validity, restrictions) are set by the brand; we are not responsible for whether the code works with the merchant. A creator must not publish codes she is not authorised to use.
12.8 Collaborations with local businesses. A creator can collaborate with a local business through Taguj using a personal code; the collaboration only applies once approved by the business. The business pays for each visit by a customer who uses the creator’s personal code when paying, either as a fixed amount or as a percentage of the spend excluding VAT, according to the business’s settings in the app. The creator receives the amount or percentage shown for the business in the app, and the customer receives the benefit shown in the app. Taguj charges the business its own fee, which is not deducted from the creator’s reward. The business can set the code to apply only to a customer’s first visit.
12.9 A creator is not our employee or agent and must not act on our behalf. She arranges any collaboration with a brand at her own responsibility, unless we arrange it.
13. Payouts, verification of details and taxes
13.1 A commission is released for payout once the return period for the goods has expired (usually 30 days after the purchase) and the merchant has confirmed it.
13.2 We make payouts once a month, on the first day of the month, if the balance reaches the minimum amount:
- Czech Republic: 500 Kč to a Czech bank account;
- Slovakia: 20 € in euros to a Slovak IBAN;
- Poland: 100 zł in zloty to a Polish IBAN;
- Germany: 20 € in euros to a German IBAN;
- United Kingdom: 20 £ in pounds to a British IBAN.
Lower amounts are carried over to the following month. We convert commissions from Kč at the Czech National Bank exchange rate valid on the day the payout is created. We send payouts from our multi-currency account directly in the currency of your payout (Kč, €, zł or £), and we cover our bank’s fees. The recipient’s bank may charge its own fee for incoming payments according to its price list.
13.3 We send money to the account number or IBAN given in your profile; the details must be true, and without them we cannot send a payout. We are not responsible for incorrectly entered details.
13.4 Verification. Before the first payout and after every change of account or name, we verify the details. We ask for a declaration on your honour that:
- the creator is at least 18 years old (for companies, that she is acting on behalf of the company);
- she is acting in her own name;
- she is not on an international sanctions list;
- whether or not she is a politically exposed person.
For verification we may use public registers (e.g. ARES) and sanctions lists.
13.5 We may refuse or reasonably delay a payout if there is a reasonable suspicion of fraud, if verification fails or if these terms are breached. We will tell you the reason. We will not pay commissions obtained by fraud or in breach of chapter 7, and if they have already been paid, we may claim them back or set them off against future payouts.
13.6 Statements. We issue payout statements through the Fakturoid service. Self-employed people and companies may be asked to issue an invoice or to approve the commission statement.
13.7 Taxes. The creator is responsible for paying tax on her income under the rules of the country where she is tax resident. In the Czech Republic, an individual without a trade licence usually declares the payout as other income (occasional income of up to 50,000 Kč a year is not taxed). This information is not tax advice.
13.8 When your account is deleted, we will pay you the entire balance released for payout, even if it is below the minimum amount.
14. Paid features
14.1 There are currently no paid features in Taguj. If we introduce them, we will state their price (in Kč, including VAT) and terms (e.g. the length of the trial period and recurring payments) in advance and add them to these terms. Payments will be processed by Stripe; we do not store payment card details.
14.2 Consumer withdrawal. A consumer has the right to withdraw from the agreement for a paid feature within 14 days of entering into it without giving a reason; just write to info@taguj.io. We will refund the money within 14 days of withdrawal by the same method it was paid.
14.3 You can exercise your rights in respect of defective performance (e.g. if a paid feature does not work) at support@taguj.io. We will handle the complaint within 30 days at the latest. The consumer’s statutory rights are not affected.
15. Third-party links and services
15.1 Taguj contains links to merchants’ websites and third-party services (e.g. sign-in via Google, Apple and Facebook, GIPHY stickers in stories, Stripe payments). These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
15.2 We do not control and are not responsible for the content and operation of third-party websites. A link does not mean that we recommend the product or merchant, unless we expressly say so.
16. Taguj intellectual property and feedback
16.1 The Taguj name and logo, design, software, databases and other elements of the service (except for user and merchant content) belong to us or our licensors and are protected by the Czech Copyright Act and other regulations. You must not use them without our consent beyond the scope of the licence under chapter 6.
16.2 Brands’ trade marks and logos belong to their owners.
16.3 If you send us an idea, comment or suggestion for improvement, we may use it free of charge without incurring any obligation towards you. We are not, however, obliged to use it.
17. Infringement of copyright and other rights
17.1 If you believe that content on Taguj infringes your copyright, trade mark or another right, send a report in accordance with clause 10.2 to info@taguj.io. In addition, state which work or right is concerned and that you are its owner or are acting on the owner’s behalf.
17.2 The author of removed content may file a complaint under clause 10.7 if she believes the removal was a mistake or that she holds the rights to the content.
17.3 Deliberately false reports may lead to measures under clause 10.9 and to liability for any damage caused.
18. Availability and changes to the service
18.1 We develop Taguj continuously and may change, add or remove its features. We will inform you in advance of any material change that puts you at a disadvantage.
18.2 We strive for the highest possible availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation without outages (e.g. due to maintenance or a supplier outage). We will announce planned downtime longer than 2 hours in advance.
18.3 We do not guarantee any particular earnings, reach, number of followers or number of collaborations.
18.4 We are responsible to consumers for Taguj having the characteristics described in these terms and complying with the law (rights in respect of defective performance of a digital service under the Czech Civil Code).
19. Restriction, suspension and termination
19.1 Deleting your account yourself. You can delete your account yourself at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account), on the page taguj.io/smazani-uctu or by email to support@taguj.io. This ends the agreement.
19.2 Restriction or deletion of an account by us. We may restrict, suspend or delete an account if:
- the user seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms or the law;
- we find out that the user is under 18;
- there is a reasonable suspicion of fraud, account misuse or a security threat;
- the law or a decision of an authority requires it.
19.3 We will give reasons for the decision in accordance with clause 10.6, and you can file a complaint against it under clause 10.7.
19.4 For businesses (P2B): if we delete a business’s account for reasons other than a serious breach, a legal reason or repeated breaches, we will give notice at least 30 days in advance with a statement of reasons. We will give the reasons for a suspension or restriction no later than when it takes effect.
19.5 We may also discontinue Taguj as a whole; we will give at least 30 days’ notice and pay out released commissions.
19.6 Termination does not affect obligations already incurred, ongoing settlements, claims for damages or legal obligations to retain certain data. What happens to your data after your account is deleted is described in the Privacy Policy.
20. Liability
20.1 We are liable for damage we cause by breaching our obligations, to the extent provided by law.
20.2 To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- the conduct, offers and performance of merchants, brands and affiliate networks;
- content published by users;
- lost profit, loss of commission or reach and other indirect damage that could not reasonably have been foreseen;
- outages caused by circumstances beyond our control (force majeure, internet or supplier outages).
20.3 The limitations under clause 20.2 do not apply to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or to harm to life, health or natural rights of a person, and they in no way limit consumer rights that cannot be excluded by contract.
20.4 Towards businesses, our total liability, to the extent permitted by law and except as set out in clause 20.3, is limited to the total commissions paid to the creator over the last 12 months.
20.5 Your liability. You are liable under the law for damage you cause to us or to third parties by breaching these terms or the law (for example by publishing content that infringes the rights of others or by commission fraud). In addition, a business will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from its content or breach of the terms, including reasonable legal costs.
21. App Store and Google Play rules
21.1 If you use the Taguj app downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the following provisions also apply.
21.2 You enter into the agreement only with us, not with Apple or Google. We are responsible for the app and its content.
21.3 The licence to the app downloaded from the App Store applies only to Apple devices that you own or control, and in accordance with the Usage Rules in the App Store terms; the app may also be used by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing, provided they are over 18.
21.4 Neither Apple nor Google has any obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. Please direct questions and complaints to us (support@taguj.io).
21.5 If the app fails to meet legal or contractual requirements, you can notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price of the app (the Taguj app is free); to the extent permitted by law, Apple has no other obligation. This does not affect your statutory rights against us.
21.6 We, not Apple, are responsible for handling claims relating to the app (e.g. defects, legal non-compliance, consumer protection) and for third-party claims of intellectual property infringement.
21.7 You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not on any list of prohibited or restricted parties.
21.8 Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, once you accept them, may enforce the provisions of this chapter against you.
21.9 You must also comply with third-party terms applicable to your device and connection (e.g. your mobile operator).
22. Changes to the terms
22.1 We may reasonably change the terms, in particular in the event of changes to the service, the business model, legislation or decisions of authorities.
22.2 We will inform you of material changes by email or in the app at least 15 days in advance (businesses always at least 15 days, or longer if the change requires significant technical adjustments on their side). We may make minor changes (e.g. correcting typos, new features with no new obligation for you) without prior notice.
22.3 You do not have to agree to a change. In that case, you can terminate the agreement by deleting your account before the change takes effect; termination is without penalty and we will settle your released commissions. If you do not delete your account and continue to use Taguj after the change takes effect, the new version applies.
22.4 The 15-day period does not apply if the change is required by law or a decision of an authority within a shorter period, or if it is a response to an unexpected security risk.
22.5 We will send you previous versions of the terms on request.
23. Governing law, disputes and final provisions
23.1 Governing law. These terms and the agreement are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another EU country (e.g. Slovakia or Poland), you do not lose the protection afforded to you by the mandatory rules of your country of residence.
23.2 Courts. Disputes are resolved by the competent Czech courts. A consumer can always also sue in the courts of their place of residence and can only be sued there.
23.3 Out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes. A consumer can resolve a dispute out of court with the Česká obchodní inspekce (ČOI, Czech Trade Inspection Authority), ADR department, Štěpánská 15, 120 00 Praha 2, adr.coi.cz.
23.4 For businesses (P2B): we handle complaints from businesses at support@taguj.io in accordance with clause 10.7. As a small enterprise, we are not obliged to designate mediators under Regulation (EU) 2019/1150. Disputes can be resolved by agreement or in court.
23.5 Assignment. You must not transfer your rights and obligations under the agreement to anyone else without our consent. We may transfer them to a successor in the event of a sale or transfer of Taguj, provided this does not worsen your rights; we will inform you in advance and you may terminate the agreement.
23.6 Severability. If any provision proves to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force. We will replace the invalid provision with one that comes as close to it as possible and complies with the law.
