Account and data deletion

Fastest in the app

In the Taguj app, open Profile → Delete account (in the Czech app “Profil → Smazat účet”, in the Slovak app “Profil → Zmazať účet”) and confirm by typing the word shown in the app (SMAZAT in Czech, ZMAZAŤ in Slovak). This deletes your posts and photos, likes, comments, follows, settings and logins. If you have an active paid promotion, cancel it in payment management first.

How to request deletion by e-mail

From the e-mail address linked to your account, send a message to info@taguj.io with the subject “Taguj account deletion”. In the message, state that you are requesting the permanent deletion of your account and related personal data. If you signed in via Facebook, you can mention this too.

What happens next

We will confirm the request at your registered e-mail address to prevent unauthorised deletion. After verification, we will delete or anonymise your account, profile, login connections and any content we are not required to keep.

Time limit and legal exceptions

We will handle your request without undue delay, usually within 30 days. We may retain some data for a limited period where required by law, accounting and tax obligations, handling of complaints or the protection of legal claims.

Disconnecting Facebook

You can also remove the Taguj app's access in your Facebook settings under Apps and Websites. Removing access via Facebook alone may not automatically delete your entire Taguj account; for complete deletion, use the steps above.
